The Start of My Blogging

This is the start of my venture into blogging. My goal is to just post interesting things that have to do the various subjects. I am sure there are many of you, like me, out there that just like to do a varity of things. So, I am hoping to post links to these kinds of interesting blogs, web-sites, books, and magazines.

Some of the things I am interested in are as follows:

sewing
knitting
crocheting
cross-stitch (Especially those English magazines.)
embroidery
cooking
drawing
painting
outdoors stuff
reading
homeschooling
DVD's/Movies

But, if you are like me, you do not always have the time (or space) to do the many things you are interested in. I am still interested and like reading about how to (so, come the day I have the time I will be all set to go). I am also hoping this proves that even in a small space one can do most of the things they like even without a studio/craft room (and without spending a lot of money).

Also, since I am new to this blogging thing, my blog may not look as pretty as they do on other blogs (like the ones I have linked so far to this blog). I will be working on that and hope to master it during this month. I have a 20 and 16 year old that I am sure will help me out (yes, I am a mom of 3, gal 20 yrs.,gal 16 yrs., and a guy 12 yrs.). In a perfect world I wil understand and be able to post pictures by the end of the week. I am also going to try to do a Monday thru Friday (will see how that one works).

Well, it is time to get back to schoolwork and hopefully get the grass cut with the help of the boy. We had a big wind storm, over a week ago in northern California, and still have some of the mess to clean up. Hope you are having a great day no matter where you are.

I'm always checking my stats to see where people are coming from--there you were. Welcome! The company's fine. :)

I always have a huge list of things that I want to add/change/fix on my blog. I just do them when I can. It helps to think of your blog as a never-ending work in progress. :)
