Hope everyone is having or had a very nice day. Ours is very quiet this year, head cook (that would be me) is finally coming out of the flu bug. So instead of turkey dinner stuff, there will be turkey kielbasa, mac'n cheese, and a nice salad. Mr. V did pick up a couple of very nice pies for the day on his way home yesterday.
Have had a few phone calls from family folk. All are doing well. Just got off the phone with my mom. Her and two of her friends, that are sisters, went out for their big day. They went to the Double JJ Ranch for the buffet. Said there a lot of people there.
Off now to check on the mac'n cheese baking. Next year I will have to post some good books about the history of Thanksgiving.
