Day 3 Of Posting For 5 Days In A Row....

Yep, it is already Wednesday and I am staying on track of posting for 5 days in a row. Now I need to learn to write something a little more interesting once in awhile. The boy did his orthodontist thing this morning. Got what they call power chains put on (in other words cranking his teeth together really tight) and more rubber bands to wear. Needless to say he has a sore mouth this evening.

Being that Mr. V was home I did not get a lot done. I was able to pin the rick rac onto the top doll top while talking on the phone. I will sew it on tomorrow.

Here are a couple of pictures of what I got done yesterday:

I had forgotten how much harder it is to sew tiny seams than big ones. The elastic didn't end up as pretty as I would like, but, this is the first one in a long time. I know what I did wrong and will do better next time.

I think I have found a doll that will fit this outfit after I get it done. I do like the Scottie dogs on the top.

I was also able to get some crocheting done while waiting for Ricky. And at the Guitar Center I started another dishcloth while waiting for Mr. V. This evening I will get to do some more crocheting while watching So You Think You Can Dance with Rebecca. I will admit it has been fun to watch this year. And we have been enjoying watching the local boy do pretty well so far.

Tomorrow will be a day of paying bills (yuck), laundry, cleaning up, finding out employment forms on-line, and maybe some reading along with working on the doll outfit. That is my plan, now lets see if any of it will work out that way.......

Very cute! Love the fabrics. Personally I find making doll clothes easier - not that I ever tried to sew for humans, but I don't have to worry about fit too much, or about durability, and I can't imagine cutting huge pieces of fabric with any precision.

You are doing so well on the posting! I'm not. I let "things" get in the way, like so you think you can dance! Oh well. It's fun when I remember to do it. Love the doll clothes and the tiki light holder!

I struggle with making sure I get posts in every day too. You're doing great!
The doll outfit is adorable. A few months back I made my daughter a Waldorf-style doll for her birthday, but I still have to get brave enough to attempt her wig. *sigh* And the clothes, well, let's just say she has a dress "sewn" together with fabric glue. ;-P

That little outfit is looking SO cute! Can't wait to see it on your doll. Hope the job applications are getting more bearable and it won't be too long until you find one that you'll be happy to take up.
